I’m betting the Family category will see a lot more additions in the near future!

Since the kid could be here any day now, I wonder which ones it’ll wear!

Many people have asked about baby names. Dan and I originally made our own lists, then combined them, and have now slowly been vetoing/pairing down the list. Below are the boy names. I do not feel any inspiration at this point to pair them up with middle names, so if you have suggestions, please post them. :)

So, we found out that we are having a VERY active baby. It would not stop moving around, which is cute to see, but makes for awful, blurry ultrasounds. I have to have another round of ultrasounds next month (9/14) because baby would not cooperate. There are still things to check like the face, lower GI tract, spine, and extremities. Other than that, all is good- weight, blood pressure, baby’s heart rate, etc. :)

When people find out that we are pregnant the first thing they usually excitedly ask is “Are you going to find out if it’s a girl or a boy?” I hear this at least four times as much as the expected “When are you due?” Dan and I are enjoying the mystery of it all, so I don’t think that we are going to find out. Some people are mortified at the idea that we can wait to find out while others cheer us on for not “cheating.” So, I thought that I would start a poll to see what you guys are predicting!

As you can see, Alanna and my dad are playing a game that I remember playing a lot at Gramma's house. There are two boards with the holes cut out and covered in carpet. You face them towards each other and two players take turns tossing 3" washers. Anyone know the official name of this game or is it something my grandparents made up?
